BEFORE YOU GO

Travel well. Start here.

A practical starting point for your Xinjiang journey. Confirm current conditions and entry requirements before making reservations.

01

Choose your arrival city

Choose an arrival city that suits the region you want to explore. Yining, Altay and Kashgar are useful route-planning anchors. Confirm actual transport schedules before arranging transfers.

02

Leave room between places

Xinjiang is extensive. Build in rest stops and avoid pairing a long road transfer with a tightly timed departure. The distances shown in our demonstration tool are estimates, not navigation instructions.

03

Think about the season

Plan around the landscape you most want to see. Weather, daylight and access can change the experience; check local forecasts and opening information close to departure.

04

Confirm the essentials

Check passport and entry requirements with official authorities. Confirm hotels, dietary needs, vehicle arrangements, inclusions and cancellation terms with your travel consultant before paying.

Official entry information ↗
How should I choose a route?+

Start with one region. Ili, Altai and southern Xinjiang deserve time of their own; connecting them requires additional travel days.

Can the trip be personalised?+

Yes. Use the planning tool to record your dates, group size, hotel preferences and interests. A travel consultant must confirm the final route and availability.

How does the quotation work?+

The current tool creates an editable demonstration itinerary and itemised estimate. Prices, hotels and travel times require confirmation; online payment is not enabled.
